Walking by Faith - "The Importance of Walking out your Faith"

Greetings,

The word of God tells us in Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". Our faith is our belief in God and that His word will not return void. We have to believe even when we don't see anything happening. Many times we forget that there are things happening always in the spiritual realm, and God is always working behind the scenes. It is our responsibility to pray, worship, praise and believe and know that God is working everything out for our good.

I love the New International Version bible that says in James 2:17 "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead". Our action again is our prayers, worship, praise and belief accompanied by our moving forward towards our belief. If we are believing to become debt free, we are to set aside our credit cards and make every attempt to pay cash for things we need, and pay off our bills. if we are believing for a business, we are to get our paperwork in order and do our part in making this business happen. If we are believing for friends in our life we are to show ourselves friendly.

We should always walk out our faith in love knowing that faith, hope love, abide these three, but the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13). Our faith is activated by our love. Sometimes this is forgotten and many people are wondering why their prayers are not being answered when they believe that they are doing everything right when it comes to faith in action. We can't forget that God is love and God operates out of love always. Think about when Christ took our place on the cross and died for us. John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life". That scripture says it all about His love for us and the action that was taken in love right there.

Let love and faith be with you always in everything that you do. When we walk in faith and love this pleases God.

I thank God for you, and pray that you have a very Merry Christmas and a joyous and prosperous New Year. Please note that there will be no blog post again until after new year's on Thursday, January 4th.

As always, thanks for the visit and keep looking up!!!
