What to Do While you Wait...

Greetings,
If anyone out there is like me, you know waiting is a struggle. I must admit that I have come a very long way, and I'm actually proud of myself to some degree. There are still those very special moments when I hate the fact that I have to wait.
When we find ourselves in difficult situations, and our prayer request has been made known but still no answer only the silence while waiting. When we are challenged on every side and have no idea what to do but to stand still. When your life is being shaken and you have come to that crossroad and you are not sure about the outcome of the risk you're about to take so you wait. When you have to wait on test results from the doctor and you feel like giving up, but all you can do is wait. Life is full of those moments when all there is left to do is wait. I have found that during those moments I have learned much about myself.

I have come to realize that God allows us to wait for a reason. I don't believe it's to break us, but to help us within and to build a stronger character and to develop the fruits of the spirit in our lives. So while we wait we should develop a stronger connection to God with prayer, meditation, and bible study. There will be times where fasting is also required. We have to live and not stop moving forward in life because we are waiting for a change. Many times God is testing us on how we wait. We definitely have to keep our attitudes in check and keep them as pleasant as possible. I don't know about you, but I hate to take the same test over again :-)
While waiting we have to make sure that we have done our part as God has led us, and now just put our full faith in God that He is working behind the scenes and doing what needs to be done for our good. This is not an easy pill to swallow, but after we have done everything we must stand (Ephesians 6:13). We must keep living and walking by faith and not by sight. We must continue to be that light letting others see that we will not be shaken, but we will stand firm on the promises of God. We must walk by faith and not fear of what we see or of the unknown.
Beloved, keep living and don't stop living because of uncertainties. Not only is God watching, but also others and we have to make sure that our walk is one that will show what we profess and with that being said I'm staying in faith. Now how about you? Just hold on knowing help is on the way..
Be encouraged, and as always thanks for the visit and keep looking up. Please enjoy the short video below :-)
