When The Devil Comes Knocking...

Greetings,

How do you handle opposition when it comes? Do you stand firm in your faith and believe that God is behind the scenes fighting your battles, or do you succumb to every battle and temptation that comes against you (Genesis 3:6), (Matthew 4:1-11)?

One thing I have learned is that trouble is going to come at some point and we have to be ready for the battle. Satan has a job to steal, kill and destroy, but when we are blood bought Christians we have to be clothed in the whole armor so that we can withstand in the evil day (Ephesians 6:13).

Romans 12:1-2 says Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. When we do this we will be able to determine the will of God for our lives. We have to stay alert and woke to the schemes of the enemy so that we will not be tempted in the day of evil.

I'm here to encourage you today and to remind you that you are more than a conqueror, and that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. You don't have to be afraid of the enemy because he is already defeated. Take your rightful place as a Christian and walk in authority and the victory already given to you.

See yourself the way Christ sees you and when fear comes be honest with God and ask Him to help you. You don't have to be afraid because you are covered by the blood of the lamb. Remember that Christ already paid the price for our freedom.

Live on purpose and begin to walk in your destiny. No longer be bound by the lies of the enemy because you are a child of the King and God has a good plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11).

Keep the word of God in your mouth and speak life over your circumstances. We must walk by faith and not by sight because the enemy will try to bring fear through negative circumstances. We must keep the faith and remain strong in our walk at all times. Sometimes we have to do things afraid trusting that God is with us and for us at all times.

The enemies bark is louder than his bite and when we keep looking up to Christ our focus on Him will keep us in the evil day. We will not always have all the answers, but the bible is our blueprint to follow, and will help us along the way. The enemy comes at us through our thoughts and when we play on those thoughts it breaks down our focus on Christ. We must cast down every imagination, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

Keep the faith beloved and remember that the battle is not yours but the Lords (2 Chronicles 20:15). Thanks so much for the visit and keep looking up!!!
