Rest In Knowing.....

Greetings,
What is your state of mind currently? Are you feeling perplexed, worried, depressed, anxious, fearful or at peace? I'm here to remind you today that whatever state of mind you're in right now, you can rest in knowing that God is still in control. He is working behind the scenes right now whether you realize it or not, so rest in knowing that things are working out for your good.
Many times, we are so busy trying to figure things out that we lose our peace. God wants us to rest in Him because this shows that we trust Him. The thief (enemy) comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Christ has come that we may have life, and have it to the full. We only have one life to live, and if we are living confused, worried and fearful know that this is not living.
I have seen people add years to their life (looking older than they should) because they are so worried about everything. There are people worried about dying, but they are still walking around healthy. They have allowed fear to steal their joy because they are so consumed about what's going on around the world. We cannot worry about death because when it's our time our time will come. We must enjoy every moment that we have and live each day with purpose. We must stop worrying about other people and their opinions, we must stop worrying about who dislikes us, we must stop worrying about tomorrow because Matthew 6:34 tells us to not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will care for itself.
Know this one thing and never forget that God loves you with an everlasting love. He is not punishing you, He is not angry with you, and He is fully aware of everything that concerns you so rest in knowing that He is in control. Keep positive thoughts, speak life, stay in prayer, meditate on God's word and keep looking up. You don't have to plot, scheme, lie or steal all you have to do is trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).
God wants you to be joyful and not stressed out about anything. Remember that God is our source and when the job has come to an end, you are down to your last dime, bills are due, and you need food on the table know that He is working. Be still long enough so that you can hear from Him. Ask God what should your next move be and listen to hear from Him. He can speak with a still small voice that speaks to our heart, He can speak through others, He can speak while we are reading something, and it just jumps out at you. There are so many ways that God can communicate to us but remember to pay attention.
Enjoy life beloved and don't get caught up in self defeated thoughts or beliefs. Speak life and know that God has a good plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). Just trust Him and rest in knowing.
