Lord Prepare Me for the Blessing

Greetings,

Are you prepared and ready to receive all that God has for you? Many times, we are praying and asking God to bless us, and truthfully for many of us including myself are not fully prepared to receive God's best.

I wanted to share this revelation I recently received in hopes that it will help others as much as it helped me. We all know that God is a loving father who wants to bless all His children, and in fact He does by giving us life each day and so many other wonderful things such as family, a home, sound mind, food on our table and so much more. God wants to bless us in a miraculous way, but many times we are not spending time with God so that growth can take place and prepare us for all that He has for us.

I would like to challenge each one of you reading this post to begin spending more time with God and surrendering all to Him. Listen for His voice and just dwell in His presence. Spend time with God asking God to fix you and prepare you to receive His best. Let's stop seeking His hand and begin to seek His face by not asking for things but asking God to change us and help us to look more like Him.

Many of us have been waiting a long time for promises that we know God has spoken to us, but it seems as if nothing is happening. Be encouraged today in knowing that God is diligently working behind the scene preparing those promises and blessings. God loves us so much that He would not bless us prematurely knowing how dangerous that could be. This is a loving reminder that God has not forgotten you and He longs to bless us all, but we must spend time with Him allowing Him to work in and through us.

Trust Him today and surrender all to Him and let Him take control. God loves us so much and He knows what is best for us. It's time to get in your prayer closet and let God do a work in you. Don't seek the blessing but seek the blesser. As always, thanks for the visit and Keep Looking Up!!!
